In recent years, Jamie Chung has majorly turned heads with her classy yet daring fashion sense. A former MTV star, Chung has worked her way up from the girl in movies who prompted us to whisper, “Who is that beautiful creature?” — to the It Girl next door. Today, Chung is constantly being featured in magazines and fashion blogs, emphasizing her chic, trendy, and girlie ensembles.
To some, Jamie Chung might just be that random hottie from The Hangover Part II. To any fashion lover, she’s that gorgeous actress with killer street style. To me, however, she’ll always be Jamie from The Real World: San Diego (aka the best season of all time) and the subsequent Real World/Road Rules Challenge, obviously.
Jamie Chung’s fashion sense is an effortless blend of edgy and feminine, while somehow remaining very classic. How does she do it? This bombshell beauty takes simple pieces and combines them with bolder styles for a completely unique look. She is most often seen sporting her timeless trenchcoat, tailored jackets, feminine frocks, and floral print anything/everything. I picked some of my favorite looks from the ensembles above, and attempted to recreate them. Check out the Chung-channeling pieces below!
Although these looks can all be mixed and matched, I organized the items above into 2-3 outfits. The first, almost an exact replica of Jamie’s breezy trench look, begins by layering the striped sweater on top of the chambray shirt. Then, pair with either leather leggings or coated black jeans, caged heels, and a sapphire crossbody bag. To accessorize, wear the silver arrow necklace peeking out from under the collar and throw on some aviators. Finish off the ensemble by draping the leather-trim trenchcoat over your shoulders, and you’re good to go! The second outfit pairs the Peter Pan collar top with the leather cutout skirt and metallic ankle strap heels. If this girlie blouse isn’t your thing, opt for the plaid shirt above for the third outfit. Looks 2/3 can also be accessorized with the satchel and sunnies — and don’t forget Jamie’s classic nude nail polish to complete the look.
