If you follow me on insta, I’m sure you saw my many, many photos from the Southern Blog Society conference a couple weeks ago. Well, my looks from each day of the weekend are coming to the blog this week – finally! Don’t blame me, blame the blue wristbands from the conference that had to be edited out of my photos by my photoshop savvy friend who now hates my guts. But I digress… Take a peek at my first outfit from the welcome cocktail party, hosted by Swoozies!
I was having the hardest time nailing down my outfits for the conference – that is, until I walked into Lily Rain. This boutique just opened up in Mt. Pleasant and there isn’t one thing in the whole store I didn’t love. When I saw this matching set, it was a no-brainer for the welcome cocktail. The combination of the cutouts, the nude underlay, and the unique fabric (seersucker’s edgy sister) had me at hello.
When it came to my accessories, I kept things pretty neutral with my heels and clutch. I love how they kind of picked up the nude underlay of the matching set! I accessorized with minimal gold jewelry and my blue mirrored sunnies to keep up my blue theme. Last but not least, I couldn’t resist a pop of color with my coral lips and nails! Sometimes I just gotta go full on matchy-matchy, and I can’t say I hated it.
