What’s better than sparkly sequins on New Years Eve? Adding feathers into the mix. Today I’m showing off two pieces from Tres Carmen with my two favorite NYE embellishments, sequins and feathers, with both a casual and a dressy look. Enjoy!
Y’all, I am totally smitten with this sequin top. The sequins, the blush tones, the little feather peplum – swoon! Although it could be easily dressed up, I opted for winter white skinnies for a more casual New Year’s Eve outfit.
To accessorize, I went with nude heels, pretty gold jewels (including this truly fab elephant looking glass necklace from Candy Shop Vintage), and a reversible (!) Taxidermy antler box. To jazz things up a little bit – it is NYE, after all – I chose a vampy dark lip and shiny gold nails.

Using sequins and feathers in a totally different way, I went a little dressier with this fancy frock from Tres Carmen. How amazing are those blush and black feathers?!
When it came to accessories, sometimes you’ve just gotta go all black. I topped off the outfit with simple heels, a Taxidermy clutch (with optional chain strap!), and slung on a leather moto jacket to edge it up a bit. Last but not least, a swipe of nude lipstick.
