Fall layering, oh how I’ve missed you. Whoever says they like dressing for summer more than fall is seriously disturbed (#ellewoodsforever). When I got this tiered top over the summer, I was obviously excited to wear it on its own with jean cutoffs or white skinnies, but I also could not wait to style it for autumn.
To bring my gingham well into the cooler months, I paired it with my all-time favorite slouchy sweater of the season, some dark denim flares, and open toed booties. Since October has been so fickle in DC, an outfit like this is ideal for chilly mornings and sunny afternoons.
As for my accessories, I went with a pop of merlot (unfortunately not the wine) with my go-to fall hat, some oversized sunnies, my basket bag, and simple jewelry. Fall, can you please stay forever?
