Somehow Mother’s Day is already coming up quick, and I know a lot of us have so much on our minds these days that we haven’t gotten a chance to think about it. I wanted to help out in that department, because even though times are crazy, the mamas in our life still deserve all the love and pampering!
I rounded up 22 gift ideas for every budget, from safe bet ideas to ones that she never knew she wanted. See below for links, prices, and deets.
- Keepsake Journal, $10.95: I gave my mom one of these last year, and I think it’s the sweetest idea. Our parents (and grandparents!) have so many amazing stories that should be documented forever, and this is such a fun and unique way to preserve those memories.
- Nutribullet, $56: I feel like I’ve put this on so many gift guides, but for good reason! Will and I use this baby almost every day for smoothies, but you can also use it to make salad dressings, purees, and more.
- Revlon Hair Dryer, $56: Whether the mom you’re shopping for is in her 20s or her 60s, this Amazon fav is a crowd pleaser.
- Pajama Set, $35: For the mom that you aren’t sure how to shop for (new MIL, perhaps?), supersoft jammies are always a safe bet.
- Jo Malone Candle, $67: Similar to the previous pick, you can never go wrong with a bougie candle. This is something that most women just can’t justify buying for themselves, but we all deserve! It might be a more “basic” gift, but a forever favorite.
- Personalized Cutting Board, $36+: For the sentimental mother on your list, this is such a thoughtful and meaningful gift. All you have to do is send in a photo of a beloved family recipe, and it can be engraved into a wooden cutting board. Also love this engraved recipe dish!
- Gold Necklace Charm, $180: My mom has these charms with both grandbaby’s initials (and then another with a heart ❤️), and she wears it every single day. It’s definitely more of a splurge, but would be an amazing bigger gift for a new mom. I mean she basically just pushed out a bowling ball, let’s spoil her!
- Slip Sleep Mist, $32: Because moms are the most hardworking people on the planet, especially right now, they deserve more pampering than usual. This sleep mist will help her wind down at the end of her long quarantine days, and assist in getting the beauty sleep she needs.
- Slip Pillowcase, $89-110: This silk pillowcase is known to lead to healthier hair, less acne and wrinkles, and makes you feel like you’re at a swanky hotel. Pair with the sleep mist above and some bubble bath, face mask (the non-pandemic kind lol), and bottle of cab for an easy self-care package!
- Ice Roller, $20: Another to file under the self-care category is this affordable ice roller from Amazon. Because jade/quartz rollers are SO four years ago, amirite? 😂 I love using mine to help calm any puffiness in my face, especially after an evening of too many White Claws.
- “Olivia Pope” Wine Glasses, $14 each: I’m pretty sure I’ve put these on about 23408324 gift guides since 2013, but if you have a gal in your life who has recently binged Scandal while sheltering in place, these might hit different.
- Cookbook (or iPad) Stand, $9: We bought this helpful gadget a few months ago, and it has been a gamechanger. I honestly don’t know how we ever used cookbooks without it! Pair with a cookbook like this one and a fancy bottle of olive oil for the cooking lover.
- Jeni’s Mother’s Day Collection, $68: If you’re looking for something yummy to be delivered to your favorite mama, search no more. Jeni’s is by far the best ice cream I’ve ever had (don’t @ me), and this collection is just the cutest. It also has some of the best flavors – lookin’ at you, brown butter almond brittle 🤤 Especially perfect for the expectant mother on your list!
- Personalized Mug, $44+: Need a gift for a mom with a grandkid? She will be absolutely tickled at the sight of this mug with her favorite bebe on it. I also love this dog one, which is only $22! To amp up this gift, add in this French press (currently on sale for $16!) and an antique kettle.
- Dog Painting, $90+: Similar to the above, a fur baby painting is a no-brainer. I’ve put my friend Annie’s paintings on tons of my gift guides, and don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. Will and I got our moms custom paintings of their pups a couple years ago, and we quickly secured our spots as the favorite child of the family.
- Barefoot Dreams Blanket, $50: Another gift that most moms won’t treat themselves to, but would love to have – making it an ideal present! We finally got one as a bridal shower gift, and I LIVE in it (not to mention Will sleeps with it every night hahah). The sale version keeps going in and out of stock, but full-price versions are available here and here.
- Herbivore Face Oils, $29: These indulgent beauty oils usually retail for $60-90 for a full size bottle, but now mom can test out all three facial oils before she decides on her fave. And it won’t break your bank!
- Gray Malin Puzzle, $30: For the home decor/art lover, or even the quarantined puzzle fanatic who needs to daydream about her next vacay. This puzzle is actually double sided (with different enough prints so it doesn’t get too confusing), so it will keep her busy as a mother while she’s staying home.
- Photo Printer, $99: If your mom is anything like mine, she’s always seeing cute photos that we share and saying “I want a copy of this!!!” Now she can easily print out photos to frame or plaster all over the fridge to her heart’s content.
- Leather Slides, $32: Madewell vibes and quality for just a fraction of the price? Yes please! These simple, chic slides are on major sale and also come in black.
- Jason Momoa Coloring Book, $10: We all know a mom who would leave her husband in an instant for this Hawaiian heartthrob (hi, sister 🤣), so this is an obvious choice to make her smile on Mother’s Day. Toss in a box with colored pencils, ingredients for homemade Mai Tais, Honolulu coffee beans, and a hibiscus plant for a gag gift that she’ll secretly be obsessed with.
- Ouai Bath Bombs, $30: If there’s anyone who is in need of a chill pill in self-isolation, it’s all the mamas. Gift them to her in the form of these luxurious bath bombs for a kid-free night of her choice.
Whether you’re celebrating mom with one of these gifts, a drive by parade, or a family Zoom call, she’s going to love feeling special for a day in these crazy quaran-times. Happy Mother’s Day to all you beautiful mamas out there!
