When we think festive outfits, usually red, green, metallics, and sparkles come to mind. Even though I love those things and have a tendency to dress like Mrs. Claus around the holidays, it’s always a fun challenge to make unexpected looks merry and bright.
This midi dress fits the bill and then some, giving off some jolly vibes in muted holiday hues and luxurious mixed knit fabrics. Striped sweaters will also forever bring me back to the whimsical ones from Gap Christmas commercials growing up (anyone else?!), so the nostalgia factor is real here too. I styled the dress with a leather jacket and round sunnies for a bit more edge, neutral booties, and my loyal leopard clutch, because obviously.
