If you think floral print is just for spring and summer, think again. Autumn florals are already everywhere, and it’s not even September yet. This fall fad makes it so easy to transition your go-to floral pieces, granted they aren’t too summery. Look for florals in darker hues, like the one I found at Forever 21 for mere pennies — okay it was like $10, but that’s basically the same thing. I’ve been so into skater skirts this summer, so I’m excited about the fact that I can wear this one well into fall.
Since it’s still very much summer, especially down here in the Amazon rainforest Charleston, I decided to style this as more of a late summer/early fall look. I paired the skirt with a comfy black Piko crop top (yes they make these now, and yes I’m obsessed), black ankle-strap heels, and a knit sweater tied around my waist. I get really cold really easily, so even in this humid hellhole (I heart my city) I need to be prepared to walk into cold buildings or like, the grocery store. Why is it always so cold in there? Anyways, to accessorize, I went with a gold chain-link watch, a studded cuff bracelet, my everyday rings, and little wishbone studs. To make the outfit a little more warm-weather appropriate, I topped it off with some white accessories, like this quilted crossbody bag and Bianca Milov necklace from Lilli & Tori that I currently can’t stop wearing. Last but certainly not least, I topped my look off with a topknot. <3
Are you as into this necklace as I am? It’s your lucky day — it’s currently on sale and comes in several different colors. Ya know what? Go ahead and take an extra 25% off anything on the Lilli & Tori site with code TKPD25. I’m feeling frisky.
