You all know how much I love Taylor Rae Photography, so when Taylor asked me if I wanted to do a shoot with new Charleston makeup artist Bonnie of Bonn Bonn Beauty, it was a no-brainer. We did the shoot at gorgeous Pepper Plantation which is the absolute perfect wedding venue if you’re looking to avoid the usual Charleston clichés. Here are a few of my favorite photos from this pretty day!
When I was deciding on my outfit for the shoot, I knew I wanted to keep it simple to let the makeup stand out. This sleeveless chambray shirt from Teal was exactly what I was looking for – classic, clean, and easy. I paired it with white skinnies and simple wedges so the focus was right where it should be – on my stunning makeup! Bonnie did such a wonderful job doing my makeup in a way that was striking yet natural, and I was obsessed.
Although I was trying to keep things simple, I couldn’t help with a few accessories. You guys know how I do. I chose these fun beaded hoops with tassel details from Teal, some B&B bangles, my dainty C necklace, and a couple gold midi rings.
